
Our Story
We met in Washington, D.C. over a decade ago, both working in global development, but what we instantly solidified our friendship was our shared love of creating beauty.
In between long days working on hard, often urgent issues, we found grounding in creating beautiful things. We threw dinner parties and hosted concerts for our friends. We spent weekends in museums and gardens, chasing light and inspiration wherever we could find it. Those small rituals became our creative refuge—reminders that beauty and purpose can coexist.
After both completing business school, we found ourselves returning to one idea: what if we built something that made that feeling accessible to more people?
We kept coming back to flowers.
We’ve always been flower lovers, but the experience of receiving them rarely matched the joy they should bring. Too much plastic. Blooms damaged in transit. No connection to where they came from, or who grew them. And most flowers sold in the U.S. have traveled thousands of miles before reaching your vase, with almost no transparency and a staggering amount of waste.

Floral Post is our answer: a flower delivery and subscription rooted in simplicity, sustainability, and design. We grow seasonal stems on our farm in Virginia and source the rest from ethical growers we know and trust. Each delivery is a small, sculptural gesture—thoughtfully packaged and meant to live beautifully in your home.
Our mission is simple: to create unforgettable experiences with flowers. Not just on special occasions, but every day. As a ritual. As a way of noticing. As an act of care.

Frequently asked questions
Our first seasonal shipments begin August 18th. We overnight ship our flowers on Monday and Wednesday every week. If you pre-order, you will select the week and day you would like to receive your first oder. Pre-orders will receive an email with your exact delivery date one week in advance of your delivery.
Our team selects the best sculptural stems and premium blooms available each week. While you can’t select specific flowers, subscribers can build out a customer profile that helps us customize boxes that will delight you the most!
You choose your cadence: weekly, biweekly, or monthly. You can pause, skip, or cancel at any time through your account portal.
We deliver to all zip codes in the continental US!
We work to get out flowers to you––from stem to your door––faster that other options. Our flowers are shipped hydrated, so with proper care, most stems should last 5–7 days. Each box includes care instructions to help you get the most from your blooms.
No problem. Our boxes do not require a signature. If you are a subscriber and need to skip or adjust your schedule, you can do so any time in the customer portal.
Yes! Just check “This is a gift” at checkout. You’ll be able to include a personal note, and the recipient will receive beautifully packaged flowers.
